About Patti Racina PTA, LMT, BS
My journey as a practitioner began over 20 years ago when I graduated from the Providence Institute of Healing Arts.
My interest in sports and medical massage let me to finish up my Bachelor’s in Physiological Sciences from the University of Arizona in 2007. During that time, I began to work at a physical therapy office, working with patients and recovering from a significant back injury myself, solidified my belief in the power of exercise and movement. Therefore I pursued and became a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2015, graduating from GateWay Community College in Phoenix, AZ.
Throughout all this time, I continued to work as a licensed massage therapist, and my practice was evolving into a more integrated form of bodywork with the goal of improvement via manipulation, awareness, movement and education for self management and progression.
In 2020, I was fortunate enough to maintain and further build my massage therapy practice, since I was furloughed as a Physical Therapist Assistant due to the COVID pandemic.
I continue to be fascinated by and humbled by the gift of our incredible bodies, and continue to build upon my education and skills. I am currently focusing more on fascial integration with movement.
